As a metal clay artist and Senior Instructor, I offer classes from Introduction to Senior Level Certification. I enjoy teaching specialty classes in rings, bracelets, and other techniques.

July 25th ~ RingsClass time: 9am to 4pm. Take your metal clay skills to the next level! This intermediate class offers different techniques for creating unique seamless rings, including stone setting, carving, and developing various band styles. Prior experience with metal clay is required. |

July 31st, Aug. 1st & 2nd ~ Level 1 CertificationClass time: 9am to 5pm each day. This course is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of Art Clay. The curriculum consists of nine different projects and covers a wide variety of techniques. Some of the techniques include use of organic forms, creating flat and round-shank rings, addition and firing of gemstones and glass, creating a mirror finish, and much more. This course provides general and technical information, as well as some helpful teaching guidelines.

August 8th ~ Textured linked braceletClass time: 9am to 4pm Some knowledge of metal clay is useful, but not required. This class will teach texturing, shaping of clay, inserting holes for jump rings and putting the bracelet together. |

August 15th ~ BeadsClass time: 9am to 5pm.Some knowledge of metal clay is useful, but not required. I will teach how to use metal clay on sterling silver tubes for beads to fit the popular Biagi or Pandora bracelets and neck chains. Bracelets and chains will be available for purchase so you can wear your hand-made beads home. |

August 29th ~ Photopolymer PlatesMake your own photopolymer "rubber stamps" to texturize your own metal clay. We will be making our own plates and then use that design on a piece of metal clay jewelry. |
